Mayor Lovely Warren will announce the Buffalo Bills Round 6 Draft Pick this Saturday, April 27. In addition, a to-be-announced Bills’ legend from the Super Bowl Era will join Mayor Warren, along with local students, in making the selection. The Buffalo Bills will be conducting all of their Day 3 NFL Draft picks from Rochester on Saturday.

“Celebrating Rochester’s role in NFL history alongside our local high school students is an honor. We are proud of our city’s rich sports heritage and our talented local athletes who have had NFL success,” said Mayor Warren. “I look forward to announcing this historic pick of a player who will hopefully become another Bills’ legend.”

The draft picks will take place live on the Genesee Riverway Trail near Corn Hill Landing, 250 Exchange Blvd. From noon until 4 p.m., the Corn Hill Landing parking lot will be closed to vehicles for a draft day event, featuring a live broadcast of ESPN Rochester’s Sports Bar with Danger and Battaglia. The City’s Police and Fire departments will be on hand with classic vehicles and an opportunity to “Meet the Chiefs.” MVP Healthcare will be on site with family games and giveaways. Corn Hill Landing’s unique bars and restaurants will be open for fans enjoying the NFL Draft.

Students from local schools will participate in the event wearing Rochester Jeffersons jerseys, a nod to the city of Rochester’s original professional football team.
