Monroe County News Release

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo will present the finalized Monroe County Shared Services Plan to the public at the Monroe County Legislature meeting on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 starting at 6:00 PM.

The Monroe County Shared Services Plan was formulated by the Shared Services Panel convened by Dinolfo, as required by the County-Wide Shared Services Initiative established in the New York State budget. The final plan incorporates contributions from Monroe County, the City of Rochester, towns and villages to create efficiencies, increase cooperation, eliminate duplicative services and ultimately save taxpayer dollars.
According to New York State Open Meetings Law, “Public notice of the time and place of a meeting scheduled at least one week prior thereto shall be given or electronically transmitted to the news media and shall be conspicuously posted in one or more designated public locations at least seventy-two hours before such meeting.”
